Van Pelt Awarded Missouri Bar Association's 2015 Roger P. Krumm Family Law Practitioner of the Year Award

This award is given annually by The Missouri Bar's Family Law Section in honor of Roger Krumm, a family law attorney who possessed all the characteristics, skills and integrity of those who receive this award. The award winner is chosen due to their commitment, and dedication toward the improvement and advancement of the practice of family law and the children and families involved in family law matters.

Richard Van Pelt represent individuals in dissolution of marriage cases and related family law matters. His practice consists of two attorneys representing over 64 years of cumulative experience.

“Our goal is to provide quality legal service and counsel to you,” said Van Pelt. “We provide representation in Family Law matters, including Divorce, Settlement Negotiations, Mediations, Trial Practice, Modifications, Paternity, Business Divisions, Prenuptial Agreements, and Adoptions.”

Van Pelt received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pittsburg State University in 1980. He received his Juris Doctor Degree in 1983 from the University of Missouri. Columbia Law School.

The Missouri Bar was created in 1944. Its mission; to improve the legal profession, the administration of justice, and law. Through educational programs, publications, and more, The Missouri Bar serves as a valuable resource for members — and for the citizens of Missouri.

Currently, the bar is comprised of more than 30,000 members.
